The Teller 3 fills a seasoned teller’s role within the Branch, ensuring that transactions are being processed efficiently, that Being Beneficial Service Principles are being perfectly executed and that customer expectations are being met through extraordinary service. The Teller 3 serves as the back-up to the Head Teller and assists with all Branch settlement functions. The Teller 3 is capable and responsible for managing and settling the Teller’s area in the absence of the Head Teller. The Teller 3 embraces “Do what’s right” as the singular priority in all activities.


Proficient in processing all deposits, withdrawals, payments and settlements; able to settle the office and conduct audits
Thoroughly understands all Bank policies, procedures and compliance regulations
Adept in check cashing policies and able to seek appropriate approvals when needed
Knowledgeable about all Bank products, services, and investment alternatives and able to make appropriate recommendations to educate and refer customers
Thorough knowledge of all security procedures
Able to act as Head Teller whenever necessary
Cross-trained to open accounts or provide other non-transactional services for customers
Perceives customer needs and seeks ways to make the customer experience memorable
Able to educate customers
Assists in training of new tellers
Achieves all business goals
Willingly participates in all Bank and community events
Ensures a mutually respectful workplace


Minimum 1 year Teller or customer service experience or other related experience
High School diploma or equivalent
Excellent communication and listening skills
Committed to delivering extraordinary customer service
Knowledge of products and services
Sales / retail experience desirable
Ability to recommend a product or service
