This position is responsible for performing the basic Customer Service Representative (CSR) duties with limited supervision. An employee in this level should have a general understanding of all CSR duties. Assignments are routine in nature and are carried out in accordance with general work instructions and established office practices, procedures, and precedents. They should also have the ability and willingness to answer general questions concerning banking matters when asked by customers. They should be knowledgeable in all Bank policies and procedures. Work is performed under the supervision of a Branch Manager.
Two years experience as a Teller or Customer Service Representative
High School graduate.
Good listening skills.
Ability to establish a positive service oriented environment with any prospective customer.
General knowledge of business English, spelling and punctuation.
Position demands a person with an outgoing, sales-oriented personality.
Must be able to follow instructions from immediate supervisor.
Ability to operate a CRT Terminal, Check Encoder, microfilmer and personal computer.
Ability to file signature cards and correspondence in numerical and alphabetical order.
Assist tellers with end of day settlement.
Must display a conservative, businesslike appearance.
