As a Customer Success, Marketing, Sales, and Business Intern at TherapyNotes, you will join a team of dedicated product support and sales representatives to help our prospective customers run their mental health practices. You will also work closely with our marketing team, events coordinator, communications specialist, and graphic designer. You will guide psychologists, therapists, counselors, social workers psychiatrists and practice administrators through account set-up, support requests, and other challenges they may face. You will be responsible for answering customer support calls/emails, tracking sales opportunities, tracking wins/losses against TherapyNotes competition and tracking major product feature suggestions. We will custom tailor responsibilities based on candidate's strengths. Co-op students are an important part of our team and positions may lead to full-time opportunities.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

(1) Technical and Business Software Support - Train customers on product features and help answer complex questions and support calls about specific TherapyNotes functions

(2) Sales / Training Demos (no cold calling) – Perform demonstrations to prospective customers to illustrate the unique workflow and full capabilities of the TherapyNotes platform

(3) Business Development – Collaborate with the team to track and utilize competitor research, learn about new market developments, and assist in lead generation

(4) Publish and edit support articles, blog articles, and social media posts

(5) Look for marketing opportunities such as print, digital, partnerships, conferences, and events

(6) Assist sales and marketing team with case proposals, case studies, and sales collateral

(7) Some graphic and advertisement design depending on strengths.


(1) At minimum, the candidate should have excellent written and oral communication skills, computer skills, and problem solving skills

(2) Previous inside sales, customer support, or marketing experience is a plus

(3) Prior experience selling or delivering technology services or Health IT software to health professionals is a big plus

(4) MIS / Health IT skills and interest to learn more about the industry is a big plus

(5) Strong competence and comfort listening and responding to customer needs and concerns

(6) Excellent time management skills

(7) Interest in working in an entrepreneurial environment
