Description

Our client is expanding their Business Development team and looking for applicants with sales experience to identify, source, pitch, negotiate, and assist Senior Sales representatives to close digital advertising agreements from direct advertisers. The Sales Development Rep will be responsible for identifying, sourcing, pitching, negotiating, and assisting in closing digital advertising agreements from direct advertisers.

Responsibilities:
• Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
• Understand customer needs and requirements
• Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
• Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas
• Research accounts identify key players and generate interest
• Team with channel partners to build a pipeline and close deals
• Maintain advanced knowledge of current market conditions, including target audience & competition
• Establish and build rapport with business prospects and maintain on-going client relationships
• Understand prospective clients’ organizational needs and develop business plans/partnerships that will effectively and efficiently assist them
• Increase the net revenue stream by selling digital advertising and call center services
• Plan and execute business solutions for clients
• Promote company products and actively work to increase market awareness of company
• Maintain strong, working knowledge of the digital advertising industry
• Collaborate with the sales and client services team and share best practices
• Attend various trade shows
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Requirements

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s (or advanced) degree in Business, Sales, etc.
• Experience with Salesforce, data.com, or other prospecting tools (preferred)
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to create strong relationships
with clientele and present information to small groups
• Basic knowledge of the digital advertising industry
• Inside sales experience with a track record of over-achieving quota (preferred)
• Strong phone presence and cold call experience
• Knowledgeable of corporate productivity and web presentation tools
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite- Excel, Access, Outlook, Word, etc.
• A current book of business with existing industry and brand contacts a plus
