The Customer Service Representative 2 (CSR 2) shares the responsibility with all Branch employees for delivering on the Beneficial Promise “As a leader in the community, Beneficial is passionate about educating, inspiring, and motivating people to take action to do well”. The CSR 2 ensures that customers may have their accounts and loans opened as efficiently and seamlessly as possible. The CSR 2 is also willing to do whatever it takes to provide extraordinary service to customers, including presenting creative solutions and thinking out of the box to please customers and nurture the customer experience. The CSR 2 is capable of supervising the office and staff in the absence of the Assistant Manager or Branch Manager. The CSR 2 embraces “Do what’s right” as the singular priority in all activities.


Educates customers to do the right thing financially
Strong product knowledge skills; proficient in account opening, identification procedures, and the ability to educate customers about the right products to meet their needs
Able to effectively discuss and recommend loan products; proficient in the taking of applications; strong consultative skills
Thorough understanding of Bank policies, procedures and regulations; in-depth knowledge of Bank operating procedures, systems and processes
Proficient in handling all teller transactions, settlements, policies and procedures
Able to manage the office and supervise employees in the absence of the Branch Manager or Assistant Manager
Carries out the management mission by functioning as a team; actively communicating, collaborating and achieving success
Consistently exceeds the expected standards on all Mystery Shops
Well versed in all business lines and able to make appropriate recommendations
Perceives customer needs, offers solutions out of the box, seeks ways to make the customer experience memorable
Achieves all business goals

Two years experience as a Teller or Customer Service Representative
Excellent communication and listening skills
Strong customer service skills and willingness to go above and beyond
Strong problem solving skills
Strong organizational skills
Able to supervise others
Able to provide direction and instructions
