NCCC partners include local government agencies, non-profit organizations, US Forest Service, American Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity and others. Areas of focus include construction, infrastructure, environment, energy and rural/urban development.

An excellent option for those interested in business, computer science/IT, construction, carpentry, building trades, animal care, education, environmental management, emergency services, forestry, disaster response, public administration, social sciences, law enforcement, homeland security, public health, public relations, writing/journalism, counseling, human services, recreation, non-profit services, or careers with local, state or federal government and organizations. The government is also seeking those who are bilingual, are proficient in American Sign Language, have knowledge of Braille, or have prior work experience or training supporting those with medical needs or disabilities.
