Description

SEBPO is looking for a Technology Operations Manager to provide technical leadership and oversight to drive projects, enable new implementations and facilitate ongoing improvements in our technical systems.

Our expert service teams complement and improve the day-to-day operations of clients' in the advertising, marketing, and technology industries.

As a Technology Operations Manager, you will utilize your deep technical expertise and knowledge to troubleshoot a variety of IT issues. You’ll work closely with our VP of US Operations, as well as other internal teams, to support the technology infrastructure of the organization, lead internal IT meetings and manage system implementations. You’ll suggest alternative systems and test out new technologies to improve processes, keeping us effective and efficient. And if our clients run into a particular technology challenge, you’ll be a thought partner for our overseas delivery teams in finding the right solution.

The ideal candidate is forward thinking, highly process-oriented and has previous experience in technical project management.

Responsibilities

Report to and serve as a technology business partner to our VP of US Operations

Track IT purchases within established spending limits

Create Standard Operating Procedures to better systematize our technology practices

Schedule and track minutes for regular corporate IT meetings

Provide first level technical support for our US Office

Manage US network vendors and computer assets

Track IT requests and tickets using Google Spreadsheet

Oversee IT equipment and hardware purchasing for US Office

Work collaboratively across teams to establish technical and process direction

Manage cross departmental systems implementations and projects

Gather technical requirements when required by Client Solutions Team / Transition Team

Occasionally troubleshoot client technology issues, working with our overseas teams or vendors as needed


You should be comfortable providing Systems Administration for:

Mac Environment

Microsoft User Licenses

WebEx System Account Administration

SSL Certificates

Account Owner for Proxy Servers, Amazon, Internal Software, Chat

CRM (Salesforce) and Outreach.io administration

Minor Accounts including Nest Camera Accounts, GoDaddy Domain Names, SignUp Genius, Etc.

8x8 Phone Administration

Requirements

Other Requirements
Bachelors or Masters in IT, Computer Science, Systems Administration, or a related field. Degree in another field with additional relevant work experience or certifications also accepted.

5+ years of relevant technical experience, including systems upgrades and overall technical project management

Ability to coordinate and communicate across departments, including overseas teams.

Prior experience in a distributed team is a bonus, but not required.

Strong ability to work through complex technical problems, with an eye for process improvements

Experience maintaining systems with a large number of users

Experience evaluating technology purchases, negotiating user licenses, contracts

Ability to work independently

An extremely high consideration toward privacy, confidentiality, and professionalism, as you will handle sensitive and protected data

Comfortable in an environment where a high level of responsiveness and attention to detail are critical

Familiarity with Java, PHP, HTML and CRM systems a plus
