Alice Alexander is a size-inclusive, ethical and sustainable women’s apparel brand based in Philadelphia. As a vertically-integrated apparel brand we design, cut, sew and retail 100% of our clothing out of one location in Philadelphia, direct-to-consumer.
We are now accepting applications for a part-time marketing assistant to work directly with the brand founder on marketing related tasks.

Writes draft copy for website, blog posts, social media
Edits copy (written by founder) ensuring correct grammar and punctuation
Develops and manages content calendar for all media platforms including social media (instagram/ facebook), email marketing and blogs
Repurposes existing content into new content for various outlets (for example, transcribing podcasts using a service like rev.com and reusing that content for a blog post; repurposing instagram story into a youtube video or blog post etc.)
Researches new content for media platforms related to our brands core focus, pitches ideas for discussion
Creates draft blog posts and content for sharing across our networks
Assist in creation and management of product listings for online store
Assist with the creation of printed marketing materials
Uses Photoshop and/or Canva to develop digital and print ready photo graphics.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to create effective marketing schedules and systems (email marketing templates, social media calendars, etc.)
Effective writer who can clearly communicate complex concepts to a diversity of audiences
Experience with email marketing, newsletters, etc.
Experience utilizing Facebook and/or google ads preferred
Patience and flexibility, ability to work with those who are less than organized.
Ability to juggle multiple projects
Experience using a platforms such as Wordpress and Shopify preferred
An understanding of SEO
Experience using Photoshop (light photo editing, creating graphics for email marketing, and web)
Ability to synthesize information from existing content (instagram posts, stories, podcasts) for repurposing
Sense of humor, takes their work seriously, but not themselves seriously.
Awesome attitude, positive and upbeat.
2 years experience in a marketing related position, Bachelor's degree required.
