Role:

We are looking for an outgoing Fashion Buyer at Colabination - a marketplace to discover independent brands from local communities across the globe. This role has a main focus on designer acquisition and designer relationship management. Success in this role means bringing passion, energy, curiosity and talent to the team each day, and contributing those qualities to each account.

Responsibilities:

-Conduct and organize email correspondence with designers including sales efforts, customer support, campaigns, and general inquiries
-Report on designer acquisition operating metrics and performance
-Track and maintain designer inventory, including addition of new products or collections and removal of discontinued items
-Prepare apparel for product photography in our in-house studio
-Aid in styling at photoshoots weekly
-Organize email correspondence with designers including status of upcoming collections, releases and important events to note
-Acquire designers based on core pillar products and season
-Maintain oversight of designer-facing company/website branding online and in-person
-Work in backend to upload designer products and build Showrooms taking relevant trends into consideration
-Work hand in hand with designers to build their personal brand story within the Showroom
-Help guide designers through all steps of onboarding to becoming active members of the Colabination community

Requirements

-Completing a degree in business management, merchandise planning and public relations
-Comfortable helping to organize a sales call
-Strong communication and time management skills
-Must be able to work both on a team and independently
-Ability to stay calm and collected under pressure
-Ability to help manage a broad range of responsibilities across many accounts
-Drive and confidence to take on new responsibilities and grow within a start-up environment
-A startup mentality and strong personal interest in entrepreneurship, business issues or communication
-A passion for the arts, culture, music or fashion industries of Philadelphia
-Extraordinary written communications skills
-Avid follower of industry news, streetwear trends, magazines, entertainment, and pop culture
