The Graphic Design intern will work under the supervision of the staff Graphic Designer.
S/He will assist with production of promotional materials, exhibition support materials,
documentation, and archiving of graphics. Interns will have a unique opportunity to gain
experience and knowledge of graphic production, workflows, and knowledge of event
and exhibition promotion.
The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in contemporary visual arts or art history
and arts management; interest in event planning and fundraising for a nonprofit arts
organization; extremely detail oriented; and a willingness to learn. Experience in
Microsoft Office, HTML, and Adobe Products is a must; WordPress, and/or customer
relation management software is a plus, but not necessary. This position involves a 3 to
6 month commitment, 10 – 15 hours a week. Hours and days of week are flexible.
