PARCA, Inc’s vision is a world where the rhinoceros lives free from the threat of extinction in natural habitats that are preserved forever. Our mission is to fund the relocation and protection of wild rhinos, fund the care of young rhinos orphaned by poaching, and raise public awareness about their plight.
Located in the greater Philadelphia area, PARCA is offering a unique internship opportunity for an undergraduate student working toward a degree in Marketing, Communications or English who may be interested in volunteering time to conservation efforts.
We are seeking a social media content creator who will bring a fresh creative approach to our social media content. This person will be expected to create engaging graphic, video and photo content on a regular basis for a wide array of digital and social media channels. Required skills include:
• Experience writing and editing for the web including websites, blogs, Facebook, Twitter and other social media outlets
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
• Basic Adobe Photoshop skills.

For the 2020/21 academic year, we are seeking a self-motivated, dynamic individual who can work within a team atmosphere. Candidates should have strong writing and communication skills, as well as an interest in conservation. The intern will be responsible for writing, editing and proofreading social media materials, monitoring conservation trends and reporting then through PARCA’s social media, assisting the PARCA board members with projects as needed, and event support and management. Minimum of 10 hours/week encouraged.
