From The Future is looking for a creative, meticulous Content Strategist to help us build digital marketing strategies for all different levels of business - from enterprise to high growth startups.
Spend your days using the latest research tools, data, and your own creativity to develop and execute content strategies designed to drive growth and position our clients as thought leaders in their varied industries.
You will work in full collaboration with our internal team of SEOs, designers, developers, and UXers to build and execute projects that meet and exceed clients’ business goals.
Candidates with strong backgrounds in writing, editing, SEO, digital content, marketing or journalism are preferred.
As a content strategist you will:
Distill data ― keyword data, analytics, site metrics ― into strategy.
Evaluate websites to identify content gaps and determine the value of existing content.
Articulate vision of content strategy and long- and short-term value to clients based on research.
Build topic models that go deeper than just the keyword data.
Recommend the proper content platforms and promotion channels for strategy.
Edit or write blog posts, product or sales copy and landing pages as needed.
Collaborate with other team members to execute a complete digital strategy at the highest level.
In addition to this, you can expect to contribute to some exciting internal projects, including our own products and websites.
Education or experience in SEO, marketing, web publishing, writing or editing. Bachelor’s degree or experience equivalent.
Ability to lead strategy and research processes for content projects.
Knowledge and familiarity with SEO tools.
Ability to manage relationships with writers and creators, and keep editorial calendars on schedule.
Experience working within WordPress and other content management systems.
Strong editorial instincts and complete command of the English language.
Ability to commute to our office in the Spring Arts section of Philadelphia.
