The Human Resources Department at Easterseals of Southeastern Pennsylvania is seeking an unpaid intern to finish a large project in the Human Resources Department involving scanning confidential documents for upload onto the Agency’s HRIS system. The documents will need to be scanned, named and saved electronically. If time allots in the internship, the hard copies of the documents will then need to be filed in the employee personnel file. As we gear up for our summer extended school year program, the intern would be asked to assist in organizing the files with the influx of newly hired staff in the summer.
Organizational skills, attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner are all essential to this position. An academic and career interest in Human Resources is preferred. This position requires a minimum of 10 hours per week and hours worked must be within 8:30am to 3:00pm. The successful candidate for this position will be subject to background screening and a health assessment and TB consistent with State law governing child abuse protection.
